What a third-party AlkaTide bottle actually costs you

“Not covered” is vague, so here is the specific list of things that stop working when the bottle did not come from this desk. None of it is a threat; it is a description of what a distributor can and cannot reach.

That last row is the one most people never consider. A supplement that has spent a summer in a warehouse or a car boot is not the product that left the facility, and a bottle with no traceable route gives nobody, including us — a way to know.

Buying AlkaTide from outside the United States

The honest answer is that we do not publish international rates, duties or delivery times, because we do not have figures we can stand behind. What we can tell you is what to do about it: call +1 (302) 200-3480 before you order and ask. The order desk can tell you what applies to your country at the time you ask, which is more use than a number on a webpage that may be a year old.

Two things to settle in that call: who pays any customs charge on arrival, and what the return route looks like if you want to claim the guarantee — returns go to a New York address, and international return postage at your own cost may be a larger share of the refund than you expect. Neither is a reason not to order. Both are reasons to know first.

If you have already bought AlkaTide somewhere else

Call the desk with the lot code from the base of the bottle. We will tell you straight whether it matches stock we shipped, and we will tell you if it does not. That costs you nothing and we have no interest in guessing in either direction — a wrong reassurance would be worse than useless to you.

What we cannot do is refund it, replace it, or take responsibility for how it was stored. If the code does not match anything we recognise, the useful next step is the seller you bought from and, if the amount justifies it, your card issuer. See verify a batch for where the code is printed.

Why AlkaTide is not sold in shops

A reasonable question, and the answer is commercial rather than sinister.

Retail distribution means margin at every step — distributor, wholesaler, chain, shelf, and each of those steps wants a cut of a $49 bottle. It also means the product sits in a supply chain nobody in particular is accountable for, and a refund becomes the shop’s problem rather than the seller’s. Direct-to-buyer keeps the price where it is and keeps one desk answerable for the order.

The cost of that model, stated honestly, is that you cannot pick this up and read the panel before buying. Which is why the full Supplement Facts panel and a photograph of the label are on this website, and why the 60-day guarantee covers opened bottles — those two things are what replace being able to hold it in a shop.

Why the AlkaTide price is the same wherever you find it here

There is one price ladder and it is the one on the pricing page: $79, $69 and $49 a bottle. No page on this website offers a different figure, there is no discount code we issue, and there is no lower price behind an exit popup.

If you find a page claiming an AlkaTide coupon or a price we do not publish, it is not ours. The checks for spotting that are in the table below.

Ordering AlkaTide by telephone

The order desk takes orders on +1 (302) 200-3480 as well as through the checkout, which is the route to use if you would rather not enter card details on a screen.

Buying AlkaTide as a gift

Nothing stops you, with one caveat worth knowing: the 60-day guarantee runs from the purchase date, not from the day it is handed over. If it is going under a tree in December after an October order, most of the window is gone before it is opened.

Spotting a fake AlkaTide listing

Five checks, in the order they are worth doing.

A listing that gets the first four right and the fifth wrong is the one to be most careful about, because it has been built by someone who read this website.
